Question from a blogger
Liberty Posted on Sat, May 15, 2010 21:30:40Dear pastor Addokwei,
Can a Christian be under bondage of anything, such as drug, alcohol, gluttony, lust, whoredom etc.? Doesn´t the bible teach us that Christ died and paid for his total freedom?
Thank you
A brother in Christ from Berlin
April, 2010
Dear brother,
Thanks for your question. Sure! Just as the Israelites went into several bondages after they had been delivered from Egypt, the same way also a born again Christian can go into bondage. The reason for this is the choices we make in our daily lives… Click here to continue
Here are some few testimonies of Christians who have been delivered from long years of bondages of fear and coffee etc.
1. Maria was subjected under the controlling power of coffee pleasure for 30 years long. Since 2001, she´s been delivered from the controlling power of caffein. Clik on Image for details.
2. Bianka was held captive under the controlling power of alcohol for 33 long years. 2 Liters of pure Mellisa brandy was her daily doses. Landed finally in the emergency ward with 3.9% alcohol level in her blood! Since 1992, she´s been delivered from the controlling power of alcohol and its entire ramifications. “And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Rev. 22:17
Exposition Posted on Sun, February 07, 2010 02:00:04This dramatic and extremely exciting response of the Spirit and the Bride was one of the last visions the Apostle John saw and heard during his exile on the Island of Patmos, over 1910 years’ ago.
My question is: To who was the word “COME” addressed and what does it mean to Christians today? Some say it was directed to the church, others on the contrary, say to the unbelievers. And you!?
